Today we finished up our persuasive notes to National Geographic Kids Program. They are on their way and we are waiting for a response.
We also had the opportunity to check out the website, National Geographic Kids. We discovered that we can make things without the use of plastic, a dolphin is not a fish, the blue whale is one of the biggest sea animals, a sloth is slower than a turtle.
In math, we played a new place value game called, “Who am I?” We also reviewed 2-digit addition through expanded form.
If you aren’t ready to bring in an artifact, don’t worry. We have enough for a while and will ask for more coming in November.
We do want the white sheet telling us where your family originates from so we can add it to our world map. If you no longer have the sheet please comment on the blog or send Ms.Paul or Ms.Clare an email with your answer.
