FIELD TRIP MONDAY JANUARY 27- WE NEED 1 MORE VOLUNTEER. PLEASE CONTACT MS CLARE IF YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO HELP OUT!
Today National Geographic sent us on our first amazing race challenge. We came in after lunch with an envelope with a team name and a challenge to complete. Once we figured out the riddle and visited the correct room, we were given stickers to add to our passport page. We got stickers of New Delhi. Are we going to New Delhi first?
We were then asked to solve the following math question in our group.
We were asked to add the numbers 1-9 (once only) to have the sum of the 3 sides equal.
Once the math problem was solved, we were given the following:
Build the tallest structure with one cube as the BASE. Yes, just one cube! Your structure does not need to hold weight.
You will need cubes and 40 popsicle sticks. You can choose 50 small cubes or 30 large cubes.
If you finish this, expect a new challenge tomorrow.
