Please bring those field trip forms back ASAP. WE STILL NEED 1 VOLUNTEER IN MS CLARE'S AND MS. PAUL'S CLASS TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE TRIP. IF YOU ARE ABLE TO VOLUNTEER PLEASE LET HER KNOW ASAP!
Today we asked the questions, Will one large pillar support more mass than 4 small pillars? We wrote a hypothesis, drew a scientific drawing and labeled. We then tested out our predictions. The 1 large wide pillar held 4 books. The 4 narrow pillars held 45 books!
We also are preparing ourselves to start some designing, building and testing. When we watched a video found out that we need to consider materials and shapes and weather. We watched a video of a bridge that collapsed in strong wind.
